If you don't like being a doormat then get off the floor

#BlogSpot 39
Today I want to write something which each and everyone should read, feel and ponder upon. Today's topic is Domestic Violence or rather to be more specific why are women not considered of the same stature as men.
Let's start with a word "Pitrsatta (पितृसत्ता)"
Pati means owner , as we say lakhpati, crorepati , so pati basically refers to owner and Pitrsatta refers to owner of the house, but I guess it has been mistaken, because the one who helps the house made of bricks and walls turn into a home of memories is a woman not a man. We often hear women complaining of domestic violence, can we give a little thought to that?
The one who beared you nine months in her womb , nourished with love and care , the one, one should always be indebt to , we are actually beating them, shame on every individual who thinks to do this or who does this. A single finger is very weak but when all of the five fingers come together it has the capability to break anyone's nose , teeth and lot more. So just pray that, that day doesn't arrive when the tables are turned on you and you become the victim when you thought you were the boss.
The real owner of the house who works tirelessly from getting up first in the morning to getting back to sleep after everyone has slept late in the night. How can a man complain of putting more hours of work than her, in every way she works 5-6 hours more than a man does.
One needs change the mentality with the passage of time, we have advanced in every aspect except our thinking. In our culture women fast on"KarwaChautth" for the long-lives of their husband. In that case men in other countries have very short life span because there women don't do any such type of fasting?
Crazy rituals, I am not against the rituals I just want to stress on the thought process of every human being reading this. Men are not defined by their violence on the weaker but are known to protect the weaker. When you abuse or lose your control on a less powerful person you lose your identity of being a man there itself.
Now let's talk about the weaker section. Really ? Who is the weaker one ? Women? The one who has the capability from giving birth to a child to managing the home in the most perfect way. Are we calling them weak?
If you have such mentality you are sick. Get well soon, and if you are sick what's the cure for this , the cure of this disease is the change of your mindset that men and women are not weak or strong but are partners for life who need to make a strong foundation in order to have longer partnership. Every man should remember that every time he is raising his hand on the woman he is actually putting a shame to his country. "Bharat Mata ki Jai" how are you even going to spell it out when you are the reason why you aren't able to say it aloud so that everyone can hear it. Time to bring a change to my country, not only the government needs to change but more importantly people of the country need to change their mindset that we are born equal and we need to give what we want in return, be it respect love or any other thing.
So let's pledge from today that if think we are strong we need to help become others strong and if we are weak which actually we aren't because we are weak in our thoughts , the day our thoughts become strong we would be undefeatable, so we you think you are weak you need to grow strong.
Always remember you are the architect of your future , if you love you woman your son would do the same to her's and your daughter won't be feeling weak when she steps into someone's house as bride. Never do something which affects your present, past and future.
With these thoughts I give rest to my pen.
