You hold his hand and he holds your heart

A person who never expresses his love to you , never tries to show his feelings, is always hard and strict , sticks to his principles but the fact is , he is just like a coconut, hard from outside and soft from inside. We write so much about our mom's , we constantly tell her that we love her and she too is reply does show her love, but rarely something is written about this special character in the family, Dad and so today I felt that I should thank this person who has sacrificed so many dreams of his just to see me happy. I heard these lines somewhere and I felt this is what a father is
"पिता रोटी है कपड़ा है मकान है,
पिता नन्हे से परिंदे का बड़ा आसमान है,
पिता है तो घर में प्रतिपल राग है
पिता से माँ की चूड़ी बिंदी और सुहाग है
पिता है तो जीवन का सार है
पिता है तो जीवन में खुशियां आपार है
पिता है तो बच्चों के सारे सपने हैं
पिता है तो बाजार के सारे खिलौने अपने हैं "
He will never say I love you" but when you look back in time and observe closely you will find his each action will make sense, he didn't buy a new pair of shoes , neither did he show any interest in buying a new pair of clothes on festive occasions because he wanted to fullfill your wish of having a new Bicycle that you were constantly forcing him to buy for you uttering all rubbish without knowing the actual scenario of his balance sheet. This was one general example which I have put forward there are countless examples like these which you will surely think of when you read this small write-up.
It's not easy to put your desires aside and make someone else's dreams come true.
The only person who can make such things turn to reality is the a of your life , your first hero, your loving "DAD".
He is someone who will still place his faith in you when even you yourself have lost the faith in yourself forget about the public, he is someone who won't stop you from falling but will surely pick you up and make you believe that it's the part of life, and will make you believe that you can withstand such small bruises. He is the strongest character you will ever come across in your life, you know why?
It's because you will never see him cry even in the deepest of his agonies, he will always fake a smile for you to misinterpret that everything is fine and under control. I am writing this not because it's something I want to advertise as a social norm, but because I don't want it to be too late for someone to realize about this super human being living just beside you and escape unknowingly.
"Love your dad , you won't get another one in this life"
