It all started with a friend request

She on the volleyball court and he was among the spectators watching her from a distance, his eyes were glued on to her as if his eyes refused to look around what was happening. Indeed, a moment hard to pen down in words. She was a from a different college, they both were complete strangers to each other and she was unaware of the fact that she had found a secret admirer amongst the crowd who was struggling to get a view of her.
They won the tournament but the secret admirer wasn’t seen in the final match nor did it even bother her because she was still unaware of this fact. The lad was now losing his cool, he wanted to talk, he wanted to speak out to her but how? The fear of being mocked and humiliation surrounded him and once again a story died inside even before it could blossom. He was furious to meet her, time was slipping out of his hands and he didn’t have any choice except to sit back and curse himself, until a message on his phone beeped saying “hi”. Moist eyes turned into happy one’s, dull face had a glow which wasn’t seen from a long time. Yes, the message was from the one he wasn’t able to meet, the girl he secretly admired throughout the tournament. It all began with a “Hi” of two strangers, for a moment silence filled the boys mind as to what is he going to tell her, what if she blocks him on hearing all this, an atmosphere of panic surrounded him but this time fear wasn’t able to defeat him and he began and in less than 24 hours, they were texting each other over WhatsApp as if they have known each other for ages, his happiness had no bound , he kept staring at the cell phone screen for hours and kept smiling like a crazy freak, because it was only he who knew what he had won in this short span of time. It’s still not over , the saga continues , they were are and most certainly they will always be …                         Not lovers, not just friends but something only the two of them knew.

#Blogpost-02 I wonder how people can spell out to you 'it's over' and then, just walk out of your life like they never cared to stay in. It feels like the food you brought home yesterday was somehow eaten and is now 'over'. The winter you always wanted has come and the wait for it is just 'over'. The semester you tried hard to pass through didn't fetch you enough results and it got just 'over'. No, I don't understand this, at all. What is this, it's over ? Huh?
