Honest Thoughts
#Blog post 34
Today I am not here to write a story or a poem, today I am
going to write what I feel and what I need to express in front of you all. Yes,
today I want to discuss about Why our country lagging far behind other countries?”
Well the bitter truth this is we are an expert at copying others but
unfortunately we fail to copy them fully, in easy words we fail to press CTRL+A
instead we press shift+ arrow keys and select a few qualities which we
can easily adapt without thinking about its after effects. Let me explain you
what I am trying to say. We love to have Chinese fast food and very quickly we
adapted this but we failed to realize how hard they work to in the development
of their country and they don’t have time to cook and unlike us their parents don’t
stay at home to feed them. We didn’t adapt to their working hours. Moving forward
to the so called Nayi Sonch of keeping your mom’s name as your WhatsApp display
picture and showing that you respect her, well indeed a very positive thought
but I want to ask you that do we need to show the world that we respect our
parents, the world will speak about you whether you do good or bad, stay true
to yourself that’s all. You know you have love and respect for them that’s more
than enough. Posting a selfie with your mother with a caption that you love her
and deep down you know that you make her cry with your actions, is it really
worth it? What are we trying to prove to the world, it hardly matters to them, don’t
count your friends on the basis of number of likes and comments you get on your
uploaded photos and posts. Count them by the times they are with you when you
need them the most. Why are we still a developing a nation? We start thinking
of the consequences even before we give shape to our thoughts by our actions. “Will
I be benefited, what if I go in a loss, and what If people mock at me” and the negativities
surround us and the result is either we start our work with pretty low on
confidence or we dump the idea. We ask for opinions from our colleagues on our
work, their opinions differ and we rate our work on their opinion, do they know
the effort we have put in to make it this far? We are the only ones who know the
obstacles we have overcome to come this far then why do we get disheartened. Talking
about the safety of woman in our country, if we can copy the food habits,
dressing sense and lifestyle from other countries, why can’t we observe the
respect that they offer to woman at their place? It hardly matters to them what
a woman wears in their country because it none of their business but here in
India a girl wearing hot pants is looked down upon and she is observed from
head to toe by the on lookers and we say we are in 21’st century. We are more
interested in our neighbor’s problem than looking into our own. “It’s easy said
than done”. Putting attractive statuses on your Facebook wall about modern thoughts
and woman empowerment is of no use if deep inside you are not willing to accept
the change. Today our soldiers are risking their life on the borders of the
nation and beyond to keep us safe, some of the ignited minds ruling the country
in the awe of publicity are giving insensible statements and we are giving them
hike by discussing their statement, they need not be discussed and to add to
this some of us are forwarding messages to each other and spread messages that
we are supporting our Indian army, crazy, isn’t it? If we really respect them
we just need to fulfill your duty with utmost sincerity like them and half of
our problems will be sorted out, I guess the people reading this are able to
catch the hints I am trying to give by saying our duty. I am
being pretty honest with my writings and I know not all will be pleased with
the content but not all matter. The point is I wanted to throw some light where
we might be going wrong in the development of the nation, well it is my view
point and you don’t need to agree with it but I am sure this write will force
you to think once.
exactly...we just go on with the trend and in the race of showing off, we depart very far from our own soul....
